Hendersonville Ballet, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization, is the premier ballet performing arts company in Henderson County. Our mission is to provide professional performance experiences for our community while enhancing the training of our dancers.

Hendersonville Ballet proudly operates in partnership with Southside Dance Studio in Fletcher. Most of our company dancers have come up through the school and continue their training in a minimum of four advanced ballet classes a week.

Our company is known for its annual production of The Nutcracker, which has become a hallmark of our performance season each fall. In addition to this beloved classic, we have also staged renowned works such as Swan Lake Act II, Paquita, and Le Jardin from Le Corsaire in the spring.

Along with our fall and spring productions at Blue Ridge Community College, our company brings dance performances to retirement communities for free. For many audience members who cannot attend off-site events, it is a unique opportunity to see a live dance performance.

Hendersonville Ballet will celebrate in 20th anniversary season in 2027-2028. To learn how your support can allow us to continue bringing dance performances and education to our community, please visit our How to Support HB page under the Support HB tab.
